NEWS: Delhi HC Seeks Centre’s response on plea alleging data breaches on online platforms Domino’s, BigBasket, MobiKwik, Air India

The Delhi High Court has sought a response from the Central Government regarding a plea alleging cybersecurity breaches and data leaks on online platforms like Domino’s, Big Basket, Mobikwik, and Air India.

Yarlagadda Kiran Chandra vs. UOI

The Bench of Justice Rekha Palli granted time to the Standing Counsel for the Central Government, to obtain further instructions on the plea.

Learned Counsel for respondents (Centre) prays for time to obtain instructions. The same shall be granted to him.”

The Plea has been filed by Yaralagadda Kiran Chandra, General Secretary of Free Software Movement of India.

The matter will be heard next on September 23, 2021.
