The Central government has decided to repeal the three Farm Laws against which farmers have been protesting for more than a year on the Singhu border.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti announced the decision to withdraw the three controversial Farm Laws.
The three Farm Laws, Farmers (Empowerment & Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance & Farm Services Act 2020, Farmers Produce Trade & Commerce (Promotion & Facilitation) Act & Amendment to Essential Commodities Act have also been challenged before the Supreme Court. Wherein the Supreme Court had stayed the implementation of these laws.
