The Chhattisgarh Government has hired Advocate Arjun Vinod Bobde as the Additional Advocate General for organizing cases on behalf of or in the interest of the State before the Apex Court of India.
On August 13, a notification on the issue was set into effect by the Chhattisgarh government specifying his periods of service.
Adv. Arjun Vinod Bobde is the child of Senior Advocate, Vinod Arvind Bobde & the nephew of the Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde.
The Chhattisgarh Government has hired Advocate Arjun Vinod Bobde as the Additional Advocate General for organizing cases on behalf of or in the interest of the State before the Apex Court of India.
He started his practice in the year 2000 after getting his degree in Law from the well-known, Symbiosis Law College, Pune. He completed his Masters in Commercial Law by the University of Cardiff, England, in the year 2002 & concentrated in Intellectual Property, International Sales & Comparative Contracts.
Currently, he is working as a counsel & has vast experience in the field of Property Criminal & Civil Litigation before numerous judicial forums.
The Chhattisgarh Government released this notice on August 13. The State Government has asserted Advocate Arjun to be the Advocate General to supervise all the cases of the State of Chhattisgarh in the Supreme Court, New Delhi. His interpretation will begin from the date when he inherits the charge of his office. He attains the office on August 20.
The Governor of that specific State renders the selection of an Additional Advocate General, the Additional Advocate General, will be demonstrating in the Supreme Court. The qualification needed to be hired as an Additional Advocate General is the credentials to be a judge of the High Court. To be a judge of a High Court, he requires to be first and essential, a citizen of India, and holds a judicial office for 10 years or 10 years was a lawyer of a High Court.
The Indian Constitution does not predetermine the tenure and salary of an Additional Advocate General, so he keeps his office at the delight of the Governor of the State and also gets salary as determined by the Governor. Advocate Bobde is a 4th generation attorney. He is the nephew of SA Bobde, Chief Justice of India. His father, Vinod Arvind Bobde, was a Senior Advocate.
